well hello everyone i thought i would try something different today i am entering the Lindy's Stamp Gang
Colour Challenge and also entering my project as my
design team call entry.
well i have always been interested in faeries so i thought i would sculpt one from polymer clay.
i have worked with polymer clay before for miniature dolls house food but i did do some sculpting at art school.
This months challenge was to use a minimum of 2 of the colours shown in the inspiration image
so i did the following
i used a wire armature and covered it in clay building up the areas as i went
her hair is Tibetan lambs wool
i used fabric glue to glue her hair and clothes on and i painted her face and eyes with acrylic paint and then used glossy accents for the glaze
i coloured the lace with
tiffanylou blue and
heliotrope purple plum. i sprayed her skin and lace clothing with
scintillating silver and i used
desert moon turquoise on her wings
i apologise for her face see needs a lot of work but i think i did well for my first attempt
i hope you all enjoy my first attempt at a sculpted clay doll and i hope to be doing more in the future
